Yosemite Photo Workshop 2021
As one of America’s most popular destinations and world-renowned through the artwork of photographer Ansel Adams, Yosemite National Park offers some of the most spectacular landscape photography opportunities anywhere in the world. Winter is especially beautiful with snow-covered vistas, breathtaking low-lying clouds and the dramatic light reflecting throughout the valley. Join Lerro Photography as we travel throughout Yosemite Valley and photograph landmarks such as El Capitan, Half Dome and many other famous landmarks.
During the workshop, participants will learn how to photograph these scenes under a number of different lighting situations, including sunrise, sunset and nighttime photography.
The Fire Falls of Horsetail Falls is a natural phenomenon that occurs in mid to late February when Horsetail Falls is lit up by the setting sun, creating the illusion of a blazing waterfall. This event only lasts around 10 minutes with a clear line of sun light. With a little bit of luck from the weather, we’ll get a chance to photograph this amazing event.
Social Distancing and Covid 19 restrictions: If you are not feeling well, please do not attend the workshop. Please bring a mask. You will need to wear a mask when we are less than 6 feet apart.
- Three Days of Photography Instruction
- Fire Falls (Weather Permitting)
What You’ll See
|Yosemite Photo Tour||$695.00||6 of 8 Tickets Left|
Lodging, meals and transportation are not included in the ticket price.
- Lodging: There are a number of hotels and cabins in the valley. They are filling up so you should book your hotel reservation soon. If you’re on a budget, you could consider winter camping in the valley. While it may seem challenging, you’ll get the full experience of a Yosemite winter.
- Transportation: Depending on winter weather road conditions, Yosemite National Park may only allow 4WD vehicles in the park. It may turn out that the weather will be pleasant during our trip, but as a precaution, it’s very important that all participants rent a 4WD vehicle, just in case. I’d hate to see someone stuck outside at the gate because weather conditions will not allow for a 2WD vehicle. By law, you’ll also need to carry tire chains in the trunk as a precaution. If needed, you can rent or buy chains in the town of Mariposa, CA.
