WWII Aviation Photo Shoot – “The Battle of Britain”
Military Aviation Museum – Virginia Beach, VA

Join Lerro Photography for an exciting night photo session featuring six vintage aircraft at the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach, VA. During the night session, each of the featured planes will be individually lit with our high powered LED lights and the aircraft will have their engines run-up. Reenactors dressed in flight suites will also pose with the planes in between engine run-ups. If the fire department is available, they will come and water down the tarmac in front of the planes to create reflections. The tentative time for the night session is 9:15pm to midnight.
Keeping with our Battle of Britain theme, we will feature only German and British WWII aircraft. The featured aircraft for the night session are:
– Supermarine Spitfire
– Hawker Hurricane
– De Havilland Mosquito
– Messerschmitt Bf 109
– Focke-Wulf Fw 190
– Junkers Ju 52
These are rare aircraft to be featured in a night session so don’t miss this great opportunity to see them up close and engines running!
Notice: Sunday May 29 will be the rain date.
Air to Air photo Shoots: In the days prior to the night session, we are organizing two air to air photo shoots feature a dogfight between a Spitfire and Me109. Both of these photo shoots are filled up but if you would like to be put on a waiting list, please let me know.
