Maine Lighthouses 2021
Lerro Productions Presents:
Lighthouses of Maine Photo Workshop
January 13-15, 2021
Winter time is quiet time along the coast of Maine. The tourists are long gone and the snow pack is slowly rising as the winter storms pound the New England coast. The coast of Maine offers some of the most scenic and photogenic lighthouses in the United States. Lighthouses such as Portland Head, Cape Neddick, Pemaquid Point, Owl’s Head and Marshal Point are world-renowned, not only for their beauty, but also for their history. Join Lerro photography as we photograph some of the most scenic lighthouses in Maine.
During the workshop, the participants will learn how to photograph these scenes under a number of different lighting situations including sunrise, sunset and nighttime photography. We’ll have special nighttime access to the grounds at Owls Head Lighthouse, Marshal Point Lighthouse as well as other lighthouses at nighttime. A person dressed in a lighthouse keeper uniform will also be on hand to pose at a lighthouse.
The workshop starts the evening of January 13th at Cape Neddick Lighthouse and ends the evening of January 15th at Pemaquid Point Lighthouse. Other lighthouses we’ll photograph include Owls Head, Marshal Point, Rockland Breakwater, Little Dear Island, Squirrel Point, Portland Head and a few more.
The photo workshop is being run right before our WW&F Railway photo shoot on January 16-17th.
