West Virginia Railroad Photo Charters

About
Lerro Photography Presents:
Cass Scenic Railroad and
Potomac Eagle Railroad
May 1-3, 2021
Join Lerro Photography as we photograph two exciting railroads in West Virginia
Cass Scenic Railroad
May 1 – Cheat River Line: Cass Shay #5 will be relettered as “West Virginia Pulp & Paper Company #5” and will pull a log train with logs on them. Cass Shay #4 will be relettered as “Mower Lumber #4” and will pull a rider passenger train. The engines will swap trains midday so we can get shots of both engines pulling the log train. Our photo locations will include Spruce, Twin Bridges, the beaver pond and several other locations along the Shavers Fork of the Cheat River. A night session will be held in the Cass yard.
May 2 – Durbin Line: Meadow River Lumber Heisler #6 will pull a mixed freight train, featuring many locations along the Greenbrier River. The photo shoot will end around 6:00pm so everyone can travel to Romney for the Potomac Eagle photo charter.
Potomac Eagle Railroad
May 3 – Join us as we photograph our photo train along the very scenic line that follows along the South Branch of the Potomac River. The line features a number of wood and steel bridges, rock cuts, riverside running and fields. Our photo train will run from sunrise to sunset and also feature a night session at a bridge.
For the photo charter, the Baltimore & Ohio F-7A #722 will be turned southbound and will pull a matching blue passenger train. IF the Chessie GP-9 can become available, we will try to include it in the photo charter as well.
Social Distancing and Covid-19 restrictions: Please bring a mask. You will need to wear a mask when riding the train and when we are less than 6 feet apart. If you are not feeling well or show symptoms, please do not attend the workshop.
