A small group of us traveled to Quebec to photograph lighthouses along the St. Lawrence river. We started off on the north shore with a hike to Cap au Saumon Lighthouse. We then traveled to Pointe des Monts Lighthouse for sunset and sunrise shots.
On the 2nd day, we photographed Bon Desir Light and then took the ferry across the St Lawrence so we could make it to Cap Chat Lighthouse where we were able to light the fresnel lens for sunset, night and sunrise shots. We then took a boat ride to Pot à l’Eau-de-Vie [Brandy Pot] Lighthouse. To finish off the day, we were treated to an amazing sunset at Pointe-au-Pere Lighthouse
The highlight of the trip happened on the 3rd night when we were able to photograph La Martre de Gaspe Lighthouse with the northern lights. It was an amazing experience that all of us will never forget.
The fourth day was spent shooting Cap de la Madeleine Light, Pointe à la Renommée Light and Cap des Rosiers Lighthouse. On the final morning, we were allowed to enter the closed grounds at Pointe Mitis Lighthouse.
