Howard DGA-15P Air to Air Photo Shoot 2022
In July 2022, I was given the opportunity to photograph two Howard DGA-15Ps in the air over Lake Erie. These beautifully restored aircraft are privately owned and maintained to a very high standard, so much so that the green Howard won Best in Show at Oshkosh 2019. If these planes look familiar, it’s because they both made a surprise appearance during our Liberty Aviation photo shoot for both day and night photos in 2021.
Fun Fact: DGA in the name stands for “Damn Good Airplane”.
